Happy Friday everyone!
Ok, so you bought some Bitcoin… now what?!
The damn thing swings up and down like a Disneyland rollercoaster but you’re holding on! (with sweaty hands)
If that’s you, congratulations - and welcome to the club.
You’ve now made sure that no matter where you live, you have wealth that can never be confiscated or debased through inflation.
You own digital gold that you can take with you anywhere in the world; truly immutable, sovereign wealth - which also happens to increase in value by 100-200% per year.
Not bad, right?
Your next step is to radically expand your options in life with one decision - to become a global citizen and acquire another passport.
Just like Bitcoin massively expands the scope of possibilities for wealth building (and participating in the future of the financial system) - a second passport will ensure that:
you have a lot more options for working, living, traveling, doing business, investing, and enjoying life around the world
you always have another place to go if something were to happen to your home country
A second passport is the ultimate insurance policy. It can also have huge tax benefits, and it can be passed onto your descendants. It’s a gift that keeps giving.
There are really 4 ways to get a second passport:
If you’re from the lucky sperm club and your ancestors hail from a dozen or so mostly European countries, you might qualify for a second passport from one of those countries solely based on ancestry.
This is often the easiest and cheapest of all 4 options, and the one I first recommend you look at.
You’re probably familiar with this one: if you live long enough in some countries, they will grant you citizenship. The time required to live there varies drastically - from 2 years to 10+ years - and is much easier in some parts of the world than in others.
If you plan to have a baby, marry someone of another nationality, or even change your religion - you have a good shot at getting citizenship in another country.
More countries than you probably think are willing to give you citizenship and a passport in exchange for a donation to the country, an investment, or a combination of both. The programs vary massively in quality and cost (from $150K to $10M).
There are literally zero downsides to having another passport - and it is no longer for just the James Bonds of the world.
But it gives you a very unique kind of freedom.

A question I’m fascinated with: what are you optimizing for?
On a regular basis, I take a look at my life to see whether how I am spending my time - and the decisions I make - are optimizing for how I actually want to live and what I want to accomplish.
Our lives are just the long-term compounding of small habits played out daily- whether good or bad.
You might not see the impact of eating that pizza today, but the repeated action over time will have consequences that creep up on you slowly, imperceptibly. The same is true if you make that a daily salad.
But you know which one you have to choose if you’re optimizing for lifelong vitality and longevity.
That’s why I’m fascinated with the power of picking up small, long-term powerful habits (and why I did the 75 hard challenge).
Because the same idea applies to how you tackle your career, build your business, and structure your time.
If you want to have a business that gives you passive income and lots of free time - is that what you’re optimizing for?
If you want to travel the world, cultivate international relationships, invest and do business with impact and purpose… is that reflected in your daily habits?
Thinking about these things has helped me - a lot.
So if you want, ponder it, give it some thought - and let me know!
Until next week.
